Repair Authorization & Service Terms
Understand the Scope.Authorize the Work.
Clear service terms for diagnostics, repair estimates, customer approval, parts, shipping, batteries, data, testing, warranties, abandoned property, and return-to-service decisions.
These Repair Authorization & Service Terms apply to services provided by Patriot Professional Solutions LLC (“PPS”) through its Patriot Drone Repair & Readiness business line.
Core Service Terms
Know What Is Included Before Work Begins.
Drone repair can involve hidden damage, proprietary systems, unavailable parts, intermittent faults, software limitations, and changing labor requirements. The service process is designed to keep the customer informed before additional charges are incurred.
Diagnostic Authorization
The customer authorizes reasonable inspection and testing necessary to identify the likely fault, damage, repair path, and service limitations.
Start Diagnostic Intake — $49 →Diagnostic Fee and Repair Credit
The $49 diagnostic fee is non-refundable once inspection begins. If the customer approves at least $199 in PDRR repair labor under the same service case within 14 calendar days of receiving the written estimate, PDRR will apply the $49 diagnostic fee as a credit toward the approved repair labor. Parts, shipping, taxes, expedited service, third-party charges, and other fees do not count toward the $199 threshold. The credit has no cash value, is not transferable, and cannot be combined with another offer unless expressly authorized in writing.
Review Service Pricing →Repair Estimate & Approval
No paid repair beyond the approved diagnostic scope begins until the customer receives and approves the recommended work, estimated cost, and known assumptions.
Review Service Pricing →Parts & Availability
Parts may be new, used, refurbished, customer-supplied, or third-party depending on availability, compatibility, cost, and customer approval.
Ask About Parts →Hidden or Additional Damage
Additional faults may be discovered after disassembly, power-up, component replacement, calibration, or testing. Further work requires customer authorization.
View Diagnostic Services →Testing & Return to Service
Bench, functional, or controlled flight testing may be performed when appropriate, lawful, insured, safe, and included in the approved scope.
View Test & Evaluation →Shipping & Pickup
The customer is responsible for accurate packaging, declared contents, shipping charges, insurance decisions, pickup, and any carrier restrictions unless agreed otherwise.

Customer Responsibilities
Accurate Information Protects the Repair Process.
The customer should disclose relevant history and provide the equipment, access, credentials, and information reasonably required for diagnosis and repair.
- Provide accurate ownership and contact information
- Disclose crashes, water exposure, overheating, prior repairs, and modifications
- Provide passwords, account access, or device unlocks only when required and authorized
- Remove sensitive data when practical and maintain independent backups
- Identify unsafe, swollen, damaged, or questionable batteries
- Approve or decline estimates within the stated response period
- Arrange timely payment, pickup, or return shipping
Risk & Limitations
Repair Reduces Faults but Cannot Eliminate Every Risk.
Unmanned aircraft contain complex electronics, batteries, firmware, sensors, communications, moving parts, and proprietary systems. Service may not reveal every hidden or intermittent condition.
- Hidden damage may appear after repair or testing
- Proprietary tools or manufacturer service may be required
- Parts may be unavailable, obsolete, delayed, or incompatible
- Third-party repair may affect manufacturer warranty or support
- Data, settings, pairing, or calibration may be changed during service
- Flight performance depends on operator, environment, maintenance, and configuration
- Final flight and mission decisions remain with the owner and operator

Batteries, Data & Customer Property
Unsafe batteries may be refused, isolated, or handled separately. Customers should back up data and remove sensitive information when practical. PPS is not responsible for preexisting damage, undisclosed defects, or data loss beyond applicable law and the written agreement.
