Start With a DJI Drone Diagnostic
DJI drone issues are often difficult to price without first reviewing the model, symptoms, visible damage, error messages, battery condition, controller connection, and crash history.
If you are unsure what is wrong with your DJI drone, start with the intake form. We will review the issue and recommend whether the next step is a diagnostic inspection, repair estimate, mail-in instructions, or another service path.
Common DJI Issues We Review
Gimbal and Camera Problems
Review for gimbal overload messages, camera shake, tilted horizon, calibration issues, damaged gimbal arms, lens problems, or camera connection errors.
Crash Damage and Broken Parts
Review for cracked arms, damaged propellers, landing gear issues, shell damage, motor concerns, camera/gimbal damage, and impact-related symptoms.
Controller Connection Issues
Support for controller pairing issues, signal loss, app connection problems, controller recognition failures, and aircraft-to-controller communication concerns.
Battery and Charging Concerns
Review for battery warnings, charging failures, swollen battery concerns, abnormal shutdowns, low runtime, aircraft power issues, or battery-related error messages.
Firmware, App, and Calibration Issues
Review for update problems, calibration warnings, compass or IMU errors, app alerts, firmware failures, and setup or readiness issues after updates.

DJI Repair Intake Process
- Step 1 — Submit the intake form: Include your DJI model, symptoms, error messages, crash history, and photos if available.
- Step 2 — We review the issue: We determine whether the next step is diagnostic inspection, quote review, mail-in instructions, or general guidance.
- Step 3 — Diagnostic review if needed: If the issue is unclear, a diagnostic may be required before repair recommendations are provided.
- Step 4 — Repair estimate: If repair is appropriate, parts, labor, shipping, and expected next steps are communicated before work begins.
- Step 5 — Approval required: No paid repair work begins until the next step is communicated.
