Warranty Policy Overview

Patriot Drone Repair & Readiness may provide limited warranty coverage on certain completed repair labor when a repair is approved, performed, and documented through our service process. Warranty coverage does not apply to diagnostics, unresolved issues, unrelated failures, crash damage, water damage, customer misuse, shipping damage, or new issues that occur after service.

This warranty policy is intended to explain general coverage limits. Final warranty coverage may vary based on the drone model, repair type, parts used, customer-provided parts, damage history, and service notes.

This page is intended as general business service language and should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before being used as a final legal policy.

Limited Repair Labor Warranty

Covered Repair Labor

When applicable, completed repair labor may be covered for issues directly related to the specific repair performed. Coverage applies only to the repair work documented in the service record and does not extend to unrelated components or pre-existing issues.

Suggested Coverage Period

A recommended starting policy is a limited 30-day repair labor warranty on approved and completed repairs. This period may be adjusted based on the repair type, part availability, drone condition, and final business policy.

Warranty Claim Review

Warranty claims require review. The customer may be asked to provide photos, a description of the issue, service documentation, and the drone for inspection before warranty coverage is confirmed.

What Is Not Covered

  • Diagnostic fees after inspection work begins
  • Unrelated issues not connected to the completed repair
  • Pre-existing damage or hidden damage
  • Crash damage after service
  • Water damage, corrosion, or moisture-related failures
  • Battery failure, swelling, unsafe battery condition, or battery misuse
  • Customer misuse, improper operation, improper storage, or unauthorized modification
  • Damage during inbound or return shipping unless otherwise agreed in writing
  • Manufacturer app/account issues, activation issues, or warranty claim disputes
  • Customer-provided parts, unless specifically agreed in writing
  • Software, firmware, calibration, or configuration changes made after service
  • Consumable items, propellers, accessories, batteries, cables, cases, chargers, or removable parts unless specifically stated

Parts Warranty Notes

Parts warranty coverage depends on the source, type, condition, and manufacturer or supplier policy for the part used. Patriot Drone Repair & Readiness does not guarantee manufacturer or supplier warranty approval.

  • New parts may be subject to supplier or manufacturer warranty terms.
  • Used, refurbished, salvaged, customer-provided, or hard-to-source parts may have limited or no warranty.
  • Parts damaged by crash, water, improper use, battery failure, or customer modification are not covered.
  • Replacement part availability may affect warranty resolution options.
  • Some parts may require additional labor to inspect, replace, or verify.

Manufacturer Warranty Notes

  • Patriot Drone Repair & Readiness is an independent service provider.
  • We are not DJI and do not claim to be a manufacturer-authorized DJI repair center unless explicitly stated.
  • Third-party repair, inspection, disassembly, modification, or parts replacement may affect manufacturer warranty coverage.
  • Customers are responsible for reviewing manufacturer warranty terms before requesting service.
  • Manufacturer warranty claims, account access, activation status, app access, and official manufacturer service decisions remain the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed.

Custom Build Warranty Notes

Custom drone builds, FPV builds, rebuilds, upgrades, and modifications may have limited warranty coverage due to the nature of custom parts, customer use, crashes, tuning changes, and flight conditions.

  • Custom build labor may be covered only for workmanship issues directly related to the completed build.
  • Customer-provided parts may not be covered.
  • Flight crashes, improper operation, configuration changes, firmware changes, and damage after delivery are not covered.
  • FPV drones are high-risk and may require ongoing maintenance, tuning, inspection, and part replacement.
  • Build warranty does not guarantee flight performance under all conditions or prevent future component failure.

How to Request Warranty Review

If you believe an issue is related to a completed repair, contact Patriot Drone Repair & Readiness as soon as possible and provide the original service information.

  • Customer name and contact information
  • Original service date or invoice/reference information
  • Drone brand and model
  • Description of the new or recurring issue
  • Photos or videos showing the issue, if available
  • Details about any crash, water exposure, firmware update, modification, or use after service
  • Whether the drone was shipped, stored, flown, or modified after service

Warranty review may require inspection of the drone. Shipping, diagnostic review, parts, and labor may be billed separately if the issue is not covered under warranty.
